Learn to Skydive Solo in Auckland – Accelerated Freefall

Skydiving offers a challenge and a great sense of accomplishment. As well as facing fear and discovering inner strength, there is a great deal of mutual support and trust required. To skydive solo, you are required to demonstrate quick and decisive thinking, following strict safety protocol and the ability to remain calm under pressure. It is beneficial while training to work well in a team, have clear communication, and also be able to respond well to feedback and instruction.

During the course, skills will be developed in local orientation and recognizing and responding to environmental conditions.

Ensuring that you understand and follow safety procedures when learning to skydive is our number one priority.

There is a minimum age of 16 and those under the age of 18 do need parental/guardian permission.

Due to equipment restrictions, you must weigh less than 100kg, be fit, flexible and in good health.

Social Protocols

  1. Make new friends - This is a group experience so go along prepared to start conversations and make some new friends :-)
  2. Be a great listener - Have fun and stay safe by following instructions carefully.
  3. Be considerate of others - You’ll be part of a group, so it’s important to be kind and courteous.
  4. Stay safe in the outdoors - Your guides know the environment better than anyone and are there to keep you safe; listen to ALL their instructions, ALL the time.

Cultural Protocols

  1. Be on time - While the experience will be a relaxed one, make sure you allow yourself plenty of time to arrive early so you don't keep your guides and others waiting.
  2. Don't be shy - Kiwis are very friendly, open people so this experience is a great opportunity to not be shy, smile lots and make some new friends.
